LA Tourists

Jan picked us up around 10:30 and we drove all over LA. Into a cemetery to see Johnny Ramone, Valentino, Hitchcock and Mickey Rooney.
Into the hills to see the amazing houses, the Hollywood sign, and great views. You can see why people deal with the narrow curved roads to get the peace and quiet and all of LA spread out below them.
Onto Beverley Hills. I was surprised, one imagines huge sprawling lots, but the homes are actually quite close to each other, and many are very modest.
We stopped and got out of the car at Grauman's Chinese Theater to take pics of hand and foot prints, and of course I had to search out Michael Caine.
It was a great way to cram in and see as much of the city as possible in a short time.
