Morning rain for a few hours, real heavy at times. At least it let off when we hit Atlanta where we spent some time looking at their town museum and arcade museum. A cup of coffee at the Palms Cafe, then hit the road again. Disappointed that the car museum that was listed on our map set has closed. Oh well, we've got more of that type of thing coming up.
The road at some points lived up to the signs "Rough Road" bumping along the old road while a couple of football fields away was the big highway loaded with trucks. I'll take the rough side road any day over that.
Early into the hotel, nice mexican dinner and beers, and I think the DQ next door is sounding good right about now.
