Day 4 Lebanon MO to Tulsa OK

Another early start - clear skies and great roads. Soon we came upon Gay Palatia Old Time Gas Station. George welcomed us and gave us the history of the place as we looked around and Tracy bought some Route 66 stickers for her bike and postcards, and George gave me a couple for free.
He also told us not to miss Red Oak, a couple of miles off track, but well worth it for the step back in time. Old buildings, cars and farm equipment, along with some funky sculptures over a couple of acres.
Soon we were dipping into Kansas for a few miles of 'pavement ends' gravel and came upon the 'Rainbow Bridge' for some pictures.
Oklahoma - mostly four lane divided roadway (can't really call it a highway) through farm and ranch land at 65 MPH. Hit Tulsa around 4:30, met by light rain, but remarkably very little traffic, or at least less than I expected for a 'real' city at rush hour.
Just past Tulsa we stopped for the night in Sapulpa, the hotel right next to a steak house, so we were able to sample some of the beef we saw along the way.
